Development
This prototype examines how heterogeneous mobility processes can be represented in structured, testable models without collapsing important contextual detail. It treats modelling as a way to clarify assumptions, not to replace theory.
§01
Mission
To build a transparent pipeline from conceptual constructs to data representations, enabling sensitivity analysis and critique of what is—and is not—captured in modelled mobility.
§02
Core idea
A model is an argument in code. The project foregrounds data definitions, feature choices, and spatial aggregation decisions that often remain implicit in applied work.
- Explicit linkage between constructs and measurable proxies
- City-level panels and scenario-style comparisons
- Documentation of limitations and alternative specifications
§03
Prototype scope
Current iterations prioritise reproducibility and modularity over predictive performance alone, so results can be interrogated in research and teaching contexts.
